Periquita Reserva 2009 is "Editor's Choice" with 87 points in the December issue of Germany's best wine publication, Meiningers Weinwelt.
This red wine from José Maria da Fonseca is considered by the magazine as "The perfect after- work wine" the publication also adds "soft tannins, good acidity and perfect balance."
Periquita Reserva 2009 is a wine of intense ruby with an aroma of black fruits (blackberries), raspberries, spices, violets, cassis, cherry, vanilla, coffee and wood. This wine has aged in new and used wood for 8 months. It should accompany red meats, game and cheeses and should ideally be consumed at a temperature of 16ºC.
